Abyss Consulting, LLC ("Abyss Consulting," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at abyss.consulting and to the messaging programs we operate on behalf of the businesses we serve.

Information we collect

Contact information you provide. Your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you submit a form, connect to a client's guest Wi-Fi captive portal, or scan a campaign QR code and choose to share it.
SMS consent records. When you opt in to text messages, we record that you consented, the wording of the opt-in, and a timestamp.
Usage information. Basic technical data such as the pages you visit, sent by your browser, used to operate and improve the site.

How we use your information

To send you the marketing offers, event announcements, and operational updates you opted in to receive, by SMS or email.
To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
To honor opt-out requests and maintain accurate consent and suppression records.
To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are used only by Abyss Consulting to message you on behalf of the specific business where you opted in. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Service providers

We use trusted vendors to deliver our services, such as Twilio for sending text messages and Postmark for email. These providers process information only to perform messaging and delivery on our behalf, under contracts that prohibit using it for their own purposes. They are not permitted to sell your data or use it for their own marketing.

Text messaging (SMS)

SMS messages are sent only to people who have given express opt-in consent. The opt-in checkbox is unchecked by default and is never a condition of purchase or of Wi-Fi access. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and get help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. See our SMS Terms of Service for details.

Your choices

Text messages: reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any message.
Access or deletion: contact us at the address below to request a copy or deletion of your information.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to maintain the consent and opt-out records required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
